NubbiesNTails.com began as a fun platform to celebrate our quirky, adorable Corgi crew. From bossy charm to laid-back vibes and a hint of spoiled cuteness, our Corgis brought us immense joy and endless entertainment. Sharing their adventures, mishaps, and unique personalities with fellow dog lovers was our way of spreading pawsitivity and laughter.
While working in the advertising and marketing industry, we noticed a significant gap—affordable marketing solutions for small businesses were hard to find. Inspired by this need, we decided to extend our passion for helping others beyond our furry friends. Our days may be short (just like our legs!), but there are lamp posts to sniff, critters to chase, toys to frolic with, and mailmen to give the occasional runaround. Staying on top of it all isn't always a walk in the park, but we're giving it our best shot. Some of our tales are spun straight from our canine minds, while others come from our beloved Fur Parents, whom we Wuff with all our furry hearts.

I’m a 10-year-old Corgi / Jack Russell mix. Being the smallest of our pack comes with its challenges. But I have learned to be BIGGER than my size. I rule our Pack with an Iron Paw and my bite is worse than my growl.
I enjoy chasing cats, squirrels, rabbits, moles, and chipmunks.
I have had run-ins with skunks and a baby woodchuck.
Oh, and Tom the turkey.

Davinci 11/8/08 - 6/13/23
It is a heavy heart and with great saddness to let our followers and family know that Davinci on June 13th 2023, crossed the rainbow bridge.
For 15 years Davinci, brought to the Johnson Family, much happiness, joy, laughter, and Love. He was a Big part of our pack, and his passing will leave a gap that won't easily be filled.
The Nubbiesntails family will never forget our oldest, and will honor him, by continuing to leave his profile and page up. Good bye Davinci, til we meet again.

At 5 years old, I may not have all the experience as the Old Man, or my grumbly sister Endora, but I have a relaxed insight they both miss.

The Saluki is the Oldest Dog Breed
The Guinness World Record for the oldest dog breed is held by the Saluki. The breed dates back to 329BC and were kept as royal pets in Ancient Egypt. Reportedly, there are also carvings found in Southern Iraq of a dog that looks similar to a Saluki which dates back to 7000BC.
Dogs have three eyelids
Many owners haven’t heard of this interesting dog fact, but did you know that your four-legged friend has three eyelids? According to iHeartDogs, the third lid is called the ‘haw’ or nictitating membrane, and it’s responsible for keeping the eye protected and lubricated.
Dogs have dreams too
Scientific evidence, based on brain wave patterns, suggests that dogs dream just like us. You can tell when a dog is dreaming by observing their body movements and facial expressions while they sleep. It has been mooted that they mostly dream about playing or spending time with their owners. In case you were curious, yes, they can, apparently, also have bad dreams and nightmares.
